Moved to Sweden for a master's in software engineering. Karlskrona is small, the course was heavy on testing and distributed systems, and both turned out to matter.

Outside work I make small things: a ticket site for a client's party, a music quiz for friends, a few scripts that plan my dinners and watch flight prices.

Master's thesis at Ericsson
Tested whether a small language model can write baseband test configuration from a plain description of the test. Mistral 7B came out ahead of Code Llama and Phi-3, and in a workshop with Ericsson developers a generated starting point cut the time to write the larger configuration by about 40 minutes, with the caveat that they still wanted to review every line. Fine-tuned with QLoRA.

Summer at Scania
Gave Scania's internal AI chat plugin an end-to-end test suite that kept passing untouched for months after I left, and a shared Playwright login setup that another plugin team reused for its own tests. Also set up the AWS side of a RAG proof of concept with CDK.

After a year of running events for exchange students with the Erasmus Student Network, I took over the website that students at Stockholm University, KTH and Karolinska use to find them. I wrote a WordPress MCP server so an update takes a minute from the terminal instead of a trip through the admin panel.
